Description
A lovely beach house located in the coastal hamlet of Emu Bay. The Whitehouse sleeps 8 guests in 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan living area with kitchen, laundry and a seaside deck overlooking the stunning bay. Enjoy the peace and serenity in the tropical like garden of The Whitehouse.
All bed linen, pillows and bath towels are provided for your stay. Limited supply of tea, coffee, sugar and other basic kitchen essentials are supplied. Beach towels will be provided in the warmer months.
Coffee pod machine, gas BBQ,blue tooth stereo and reverse cycle air-conditioning to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. Electric blankets will keep you warm in the cooler months.
The pristine sands and deep blue waters of Emu Bay are within easy walking distance from The Whitehouse. The beach is accessible by car too on the hard sand and a safe spot for swimming, beach fishing, water sports or a relaxing walk. Enjoy sunrise or sunset and there are often dolphins frolicking along the shoreline.
Emu Bay Lavender Farm is a short 3km drive from Emu Bay. They offer a lovely breakfast, brunch or lunch and are open daily all year round.
Mobile phone coverage: Telstra is the best option for Kangaroo Island with Optus having intermittent coverage. The Whitehouse offers complimentary WIFI.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation more than 30 days of arrival – FULL Refund.
Cancellation between 8 – 30 days of arrival – 50 % of total cost.
Cancellation 7 and less days before arrival – 75% of total cost.
Cancellation within 24 hours of arrival – 100% of total cost.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
Please note that severe winter weather can occasionally lead to ferry cancellations. Our standard cancellation policy applies to all guests, regardless of whether you arrive by plane or ferry. Refunds cannot be provided for unused services or early departures. However, we assess each situation on a case-by-case basis.
