Description
Situated in the heart of Kingscote township, this is the perfect place to stay. You are within walking distance to main street shops, local restaurants, hospital and jetty. The house is located at the rear of the property, where off street parking is available. The house is ideally suited to couples or families as well as those with a disability as the ground is flat and level.

In the main house there are 2 bedrooms which can sleep up to 5. All bed linen and towels (including beach towels) are supplied. Facilities include a full kitchen which has a Sunbeam Café Series coffee machine, which will take Nespresso, Lavazza Mio or Caffitaly pods as well as ground coffee. The open plan dining and lounge room seats 8 comfortably and has a large TV and DVD player as well as air conditioning. Free WiFi is provided. The bathroom has under floor heating, ixl tastic, hair dryer and is wheel chair friendly. Laundry facilities include a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. An outside toilet has now been added.
There is also a Studio Apartment, ‘The Kernel’ which consists of 1 queen bedroom with ensuite shower & toilet as well as a kitchenette and lounge room. This ideally suits a couple or can be added to the main house for extra guests.
Outside has a BBQ and outdoor setting as well as a clothesline.

Guests will have access to the entire property. Please note this accommodation is not serviced daily and does not include breakfast provisions. There are shared facilities on site being clothes line and BBQ area.
The best way to see the Island is by car. You may be able to book a tour with Sealink or with one of the tour companies. There are no taxis or uber and limited public transport. There is a bus from Kingscote to Penneshaw with stops on the way. The bus stop is accross the road from the house.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation more than 30 days of arrival – FULL Refund.
Cancellation between 8 – 30 days of arrival – 50 % of total cost.
Cancellation 7 and less days before arrival – 75% of total cost.
Cancellation within 24 hours of arrival – 100% of total cost.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
Please note that severe winter weather can occasionally lead to ferry cancellations. Our standard cancellation policy applies to all guests, regardless of whether you arrive by plane or ferry. Refunds cannot be provided for unused services or early departures. However, we assess each situation on a case-by-case basis.
