Emu Bay Lodge is in the most superb location with absolute beach frontage leading to 4kms of white sandy beach and crystal clear blue waters. Perhaps you would just like to relax on large deck and take in the panoramic views and activity surrounding the jetty, boat ramp and bay.
This recently renovated,spacious entertainer’s delight compliments family holidays, work study groups or conferences, a base to explore the Island’s world famous natural habitat, fishing trips or just the chance to “run away and hide!”
COSY WOOD FIRE FOR WINTER Comprising two living areas both formal and informal all with new flooring, the choice is yours to kick back and watch the television, listen to music, play games or perhaps take some time out to sit down and read a good book by the fire in the formal living area. A reverse cycle air-conditioner has been installed for warmth in winter and cool in summer.
The two dining areas are ideal for any occasion and are both adjacent to the NEW kitchen which has a large pantry, dishwasher and breakfast bar. There is a large formal dining table for evening meals or conferencing or the smaller round table for more casual eating / gathering.
Walking through the house past the formal living area you move up to the second level with its glass atrium bathed in natural sunlight. Bedroom 3 & 4 and a third bathroom and toilet are also located on this level.
Guests will have access to the house in its entirety.

Emu Bay boasts one of the best beaches on Kangaroo Island be it swimming, fishing or beach walking.
Emu Bay Lodge has a vacant block on one side and a road on the other so no immediate neighbours.
Public transport is very limited on Kangaroo Island. You will need to bring your own car on the ferry or hire a car when you arrive. Both Budget & Hertz service the island in regards to hiring a car.
There are no shops or restaurants in Emu Bay so please buy your food supplies prior to your arrival. The supermarket in Kingscote is open 7 days a week.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation more than 30 days of arrival – FULL Refund.
Cancellation between 8 – 30 days of arrival – 50 % of total cost.
Cancellation 7 and less days before arrival – 75% of total cost.
Cancellation within 24 hours of arrival – 100% of total cost.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
Please note that severe winter weather can occasionally lead to ferry cancellations. Our standard cancellation policy applies to all guests, regardless of whether you arrive by plane or ferry. Refunds cannot be provided for unused services or early departures. However, we assess each situation on a case-by-case basis.
